In order to help Class of 2021 & 2022 international students of the School of Government successfully complete their thesis proposal defense, the International Affairs Office of the SOG held a Q&A meeting for international students on October 19, 2023 at the Room 613 of Qiusuo Building. The meeting was chaired by Miss Xu Bingbing, teaching secretary of international students, and attended by all doctoral students of Class 2021 and master students of Class 2022.

At the beginning of the meeting, Miss Xu  introduced to all international students present the official start time, location, and teachers and judges of the proposal defense. Then, she continued explaining the complete process and evaluation standards of the proposal defense, from which international students can have a better understanding of the proposal defense procedures and prepare all the materials required ahead of time. The meeting aims to help all international students pass the proposal defense smoothly.

During the Q&A session, students expressed their confusion of the defense and Miss Xu gave adetailed explanation and offered feasible suggestions and assistance to help them participate in the proposal defense on schedule and pass it successfully.

At the end of the meeting, Miss Xu expressed her expectation for and encouragement to all international students, hoping that they can enjoy their study life in UIBE and finish their proposal defense as required. Students also expressed their gratitude to her for all the efforts she has put in for the meeting.
